Dear Synergy Families:
I am writing to share current information about mask requirements for Synergy Academies and Los Angeles Unified students and staff.
Indoor masking is required for everyone on campus, regardless of vaccination status. Students must wear a well-fitting, non-cloth mask of multiple layers with a nose wire. This may be a disposable surgical-type mask or higher-level PPE (KN95 or N95).
Effective Tuesday, February 22nd, outdoor masking will be OPTIONAL on Los Angeles Unified school campuses, including Synergy’s campuses. This is consistent with the most recent public health guidance from the LA County Department of Public Health, and due to the decrease in COVID transmission in Los Angeles.
Synergy will continue with daily screening questions through ParentLocker, weekly COVID testing for all staff and students, and will follow the current isolation and quarantine procedures.
